Staying here was truly a 5 star experience! The staff really makes an effort to go out of the way to make your experience as relaxing as it can be. No request is too big for them or too small. For starters they let us check in early and check out late. No questions asked and no extra charges. I was amazed how they pay attention to the small details. They even had complimentary toothpaste, hair care and baby shampoos for our little one. Needless to say the rooms were meticulously clean and serviced twice a day. They also offer a complimentary house car which we put to good use during our stay. In summary we really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton Bell Harbor and whenever we visit Miami Beach again we will definitely stay here again!

I am a long time loyal customer of the Ritz Carlton Brand, I live very closely to one that I visit frequently, the Ritz Carlton Hotel is usually my go to name when I travel. So it gives me no pleasure to write this review of the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour. - Food - Probably the worst food and drinks I have ever experienced in any Ritz Carlton Hotel or any other hotel of similar statue House keeping - I stayed for two nights, our suite was "sort of ready " the first night (more on that later) , I left for shopping and touring the next morning to come back at 4:00pm and find the room was yet to be done. The Service room sign was left on since about 10am. There was No turn down service performed at the hotel When we checked in there was layer of dust over everything, an Advil pill that was left on the floor in front of the TV console demonstrated that the room has not been professionally cleaned for quite some time. I was unable to sleep at night as the sound insulation is very poor and the noise from the overpass kept me up for both nights. Elevator and floor/room signage is different than any other hotel you ever stayed at, I had to visit the lobby twice to get my keys right for the elevator and my room. The first time it was their fault, the second time it was mine because the elevator sign lists room numbers instead of floors. Price, this is one of the most expensive if not the most expensive hotel I ever stayed in when you actually factor in what you get for your money.... and this is coming from someone who stayed in some of the most expensive hotels in the world. My room was thousands of dollars per night and it was probably comparable to what you get at a Hilton airport suite. This has been the WORST hotel experience I have had in more than 20 years of luxury travel.
