After purchasing a defective Whirlpool appliance from the Home Depot, Whirlpool Corp sent Platt's Appliance out since the problem still existed after their first contractor replaced both heating elements. In spite of Ron Platt telling me the appliance is a low-end model with no insulation and there's nothing he can do, he placed in his notes to Whirlpool that "the unit is working as designed; he's not able to do any repairs." He also told me that the problem usually stops once the desired temperature is reached and he's never seen one keep making the noise after it gets to the desired temp. After following his advice and contacting home depot, he refused to write a statement saying the unit is unrepairable because according to him, "Whirlpool won't allow him to do so; They'll pull my contract/license." If that's the case he'll say whatever Whirlpool tells him to in order to give the customer the run-around. NO INTEGRITY AT ALL!!!
