South Venice is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 13,949 at the 2010 census.[4] It is part of the Bradenton–Sarasota–Venice Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.4 square miles (16.6 km2), of which 6.0 square miles (15.6 km2) is land and 0.39 square miles (1.0 km2), or 6.17%, is water.[4]
